Hi everyone, I'm here to share something which motivates me and is a key factor behind what I do, and a little bit of my story as well :)
I'll start at the beginning.
When I first started making music (June 16, 2017), I just wanted my songs in Geometry Dash, and I really needed an outlet for my musical creativity, as violin wasn't working like that for me. Don't get me wrong, I liked violin, but I wasn't at the point where I could compose violin pieces. Nor did I want to.
But that's beside the point.
I had just been exposed to dance music, namely the Illenium remix of Mello's Silence. I fell in love and wanted to recreate that. Worked for a little while, made some basic tunes, etc.
Fast forward to 4 months later. I'm in the thick of it. Dubstep Wars ended, I got second, etc., and my stuff was pretty much loops and basic major scale midi patterns. Pretty lame? Yeah, I agree.
Fast forward to three months ago. I've been impacted in the past 3 months so much more than I ever thought I would be. The teachers at my school and my youth leader have spoke truth into my life, that which I felt like I had been missing the entire time, and it blew my mind.
Basically, here's my mission:
To treat others well and be a light to them, as others have treated me well and been a light to me.
I've been blessed by God with a musical talent and a platform to reach millions of others through it. One of the things that has struck a note with me the most is what my youth leader said one time:
"You don't need to pretend you're someone you aren't to get to the area you want to impact. Let God lead you to the place He wants you to impact, and work in the space you're in."
Well, this is my space, and I believe that God has given this to me for a reason. I want to love others as I have been loved, encourage others as I have been encouraged, and give God the credit for giving me the strength to do it.
If you haven't guessed yet, I'm a Christian :)
That's my mission.
I'll be making news posts like this in the future. You don't have to agree with what I say, and I appreciate that, but I ask you to consider what I have to say. Give it thought. A little deep thought never hurts :)
That's my story, I guess.
Until next time,
